Close Encounters of the 3rd Third Kind 2 Two 2nd Second ii

After the theatrical release of Close Encounters of the Third Kind in 1977, Steven Spielberg enjoyed great success with the Close Encounters movie at the worldwide box offices. However, Steven Spielberg wasn't immediately interested in continuing the story. Instead, Steven Spielberg became fascinated with an extraterrestrial alien plot idea centralized around an exotic space being, who is left behind by his star ship friends and this star entity has to hide from the United States federal government.

Of course, this plot script premise eventually evolved into the ET The Extraterrestrial film, which would be released in theaters in 1982. Over the years, Steven Spielberg didn't really see a need to create a Close Encounters of the 3rd Kind 2 because Steven Spielberg didn't know how to show the alien extraterrestrial world the Roy Neary character (actor Richard Dreyfuss) is taken to at the conclusion of the first Close Encounters movie.

The Hollywood visual special effects of the 1980's were extremely limited in their ability to render extraterrestrial alien planets. In short, the technology didn't exist for Steven Spielberg to work on Close Encounters 2 ii Two. As year after year passed, Steven Spielberg had a few concepts for Close Encounters of the Third Kind 2. One involved a hostile alien extraterrestrial species attacking Earth.

As a result, the peaceful ET beings seen in the Close Encounters movie have to intervene in a war to stop the nefarious space entities from conquering or even destroying the Earth in Close Encounters 2. Eventually, this idea would become the basis for the Steven Spielberg movie called War of the Worlds, which had a cinematic theatrical release date in 2005.

Additionally, Steven Spielberg had glimpses of the alien extraterrestrial existence that Roy Neary witnessed, but Steven Spielberg didn't really think he had enough story plot material for an entire sequel film to be produced as Close Encounters Two. It would have been stunning to visit the extraterrestrial alien collective or empire. Yet Steven Spielberg believed the aliens extraterrestrials exist beyond our imagination.

If Steven Spielberg were to film Close Encounters of the Third Kind 2, then he would have to take these unfathomable alien extraterrestrial ways and interpret them with the Human mind. After much thought on this matter, Steven Spielberg decided there's no way to show the full scope of the extraterrestrial alien reality with the extremely primitive digital special effects technology of present day Earth.

It would appear the adventures of Roy Neary end at the conclusion of the Close Encounters 1 movie. The fans will have to utilize their own imagination to invent what happens to Roy next as Roy explores the endless mind boggling realms of the aliens extraterrestrials.
