Close Encounters of the Third 3rd Kind 2 ii Two 2nd Second

Steven Spielberg is a contemporary American film maker, who has created some of the biggest Hollywood box office hits of all time. In 1975, Steven Spielberg directed the movie called Jaws, which at the time, was the most financially successful motion picture in history. For his follow up film, Steven Spielberg chose to focus on a movie about extraterrestrials aliens for reasons no one can understand.

The film became titled Close Encounters of the Third Kind. It would earn an enormous box office gross in multiplexes theatres cinemas, but it would not become the most successful film of 1977 because Close Encounters was released in the same year as the first Star Wars episode called Star Wars Episode 4 A New Hope.

For some strange unknown reason, Close Encounters of the Third Kind would be the only original Steven Spielberg film, which Steven Spielberg both wrote and directed. All other Steven Spielberg directed movies have third party script writers. We don't have any reasons as to why Steven Spielberg stopped writing the scripts screenplays of his own films after Close Encounters.

In 1982, Steven Spielberg would surpass the success of Jaws with an even more significant film called ET The Extraterrestrial. Similar to Jaws, ET became the number one movie ever in box office revenues from cineplexes. However, Steven Spielberg wasn't finished because in 1993 Steven Spielberg would surpass both Jaws and ET with a box office mega behemoth called Jurassic Park.

Jurassic Park would reign as the number one film of all time until the theatrical release of James Cameron's Titanic masterwork. However, even after Jurassic Park, Steven Spielberg would enjoy many additional box office winners including Indiana Jones 4 and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull (2008), War of the Worlds (2005), Catch Me If You Can (2002), Minority Report (2002), Saving Private Ryan (1998) and The Lost World Jurassic Park (1997).

However, with the record shattering rise of James Cameron, Steven Spielberg has been unable to create a new motion picture, which has become the number one movie in box office history. Yet Steven Spielberg continues to make new films with the goal of eventually replacing Titanic and Avatar as the greatest box office champions in the world.
